Lava is the worst Pixar or Disney short in quite some time. Horrible idea and execution, it found just how far anthropomorphization can go before it is rejected by audiences.

I just found it insufferable. It's the cinematic equivalent of those lame-ass memes you see on Facebook, like some shit your 60-year old aunt might find "racy". The whole movie is based on the premise that old people acting like old people generally don't = instant hilarity.
