4815162342
The middleweight "genre" film that is the most potentially deadly is Zero Dark Thirty. Of course that requires the film to be good, but if it is then watch the hell out.

Impact
The only thing that is standing in the way of Life of Pi winning BP would be no SAG noms. Yes there has been BP winners with no acting noms-and I do think this will be nominated for best actor. But it wont have an ensemble nomination. riczhang
The more I think about it te less likely The Master gets in all categories, it really is even less accessible than TWBB. Don't see the Academy going for it in anything major category except acting, and maybe Original Screenplay. I'm surprised more people don't have Les Miserables at the top of their list, it looks like the traditional Oscar bait film, even more than Lincoln. riczhang
What is Promised Lands anyway?I dunno, in contention seems to have it listed as a BP nominee prediction..... Quite strange, it's nowhere else.
CoolioD1
^It's a Gus Van Sant/Matt Damon movie. It definitely has potential, but I think I need to see more about it before I put it in any of my predictions.
RichWS
We know very little about it although it's been called "Capra-esque". It's my current list because I'm assuming Focus thinks they have something good if they're gonna release it at the end of the year rather than hold it till next.
