What 2015 film will win the most Oscars?

The Revenant: Best Director, Best Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Sound

Mad Max Fury Road: Best Sound Editing, Best Film Editing, Best Make Up, and Production Design.

 

I think it's a tie.

I have The Revenant picking up six. I'm extremely confident in Picture, Director, Actor, and Cinematography, but much less certain about the Sounds, where it will compete tooth-and-nail with Mad Max.

 

I know that plenty of people are picking Mad Max as the winningest film of the night, and I'd love to see it happen. That being said, I'm still skeptical that the Academy is going to go nuts for something so batty, even if every single win is going to be below the line.

Mad Max probably has the lead due to the Sound categories. That may cause it to edge out. Revenant will get the popular awards though. So if we just count the number of wins MM will probably win. But if we score the awards with respect to there popularity/importance/major-ness (for ex - Best Pic -5points, Actors/actress awards -4p, Screenplay/score/animated pic 3.5p, Major Techincal awards like Cinematography/sound ones 3p and so on) Rev would come out on top.

Still have Fury Road and Revenant tied for four since I think Star Wars will win the sound categories.

I'm thinking Mad Max Fury Road pulls an American Hustle and gets shut out. Revenant wins the most awards.

The sound categories are iffy-I could see any of the films winning (except Sicario) to be honest!

Sicario is exactly the type of movie the sound branch goes for; I wouldn't be surprised if any of them won
