Mostly ticket sales for all formats start at the same point. I’m not really sure if people are going to see this one in IMAX due to three hours no action scenes. Most believe IMAX is something only for VFX/CGI heavy movies like superhero, even though their effects are pretty bad…

LOL. But seriously, that's common throughout the world. You see it all the time on the internet with Oppenheimer, with people saying it wasn't worth it in IMAX, as they don't get the value of it in terms of the detail it provides and how much you can get from close ups on a massive canvas. With a long drama that is so dialogue-heavy, the huge screen and resolution takes the acting to a whole other level (especially when so much of the acting is down to facial ticks, movement of the eyes, etc).

And I don't mean that they just "don't get it". It simply is what it is - not everyone will see the value in IMAX unless something blows up. Fair enough...
