As a comic geek I had to check this out, together with a friend who was also into comics - it was funny in some places but mostly forgettable and uninspired. We smiled through it to the end but I never bothered to watch it again or buy it. I had no desire to watch the sequel either.(For the record, I found "Howard the Duck" mildly enjoyable. This was far worse!)

A+. This is the greatest comic book movie ever, and does an excellent job combining the lure of the 80's cartoon, and it's root comic book.

This was one of the first film I ever saw at the cinema. As a 5 year old I loved it, of course, but I imagine the wildly uneven tone of silly humour and really rather dark aesthetics wouldn't play well to me now.

Also, anybody who follows the comics, this is the only movie that actually gets Mikey right! All other mediums always painted him as the dumb surfer dude. But best character is easily Raphael! And what's not to love about Elias Koteas as Casey Jones???????

Yep and he was possibly the only good thing about the third movie... Although Paige Turco as April was still hot.
