1M for R1?

Never ceases to amaze me, the staying power of SW.

Now there is just a chance it reaches 38 days grossing over 1M. TFA had 46 days over 1M. TDK had 40M.

It´s very good, but little far from monsters of the past... take note of the unbelievable run of Frozen and Nemo, amd of course Avatar, being in the top 10 between runs of the 20th century.

Movies with most days over 1 million (not consecutive)

Titanic                   123  days  over  1 million

E.T.                       119

Avatar                     86

Ghost                      77

Back to the Future    72

Frozen                     70

Jurassic Park            67

SW  Ep. I  TPM         66

Finding Nemo           63

Sixth Sense              62

Consecutive days over 1M is different. The most recent of these movies is Frozen, that had 47 consecutive days. But only grossed 317M in that time.

Obviously, R1 will fall short in terms of legs against 80s and 90s movies. This is a different era, and it is coming from burning a lot of demand in a huge OW and through Holidays.

But the fact that a movie can gross over 1M daily a month after opening to +150M is great.
