Electric Posted February 21, 2012 Author Share Posted February 21, 2012 (edited) The Seafarer: BI felt like this movie could have been better than it was. There are several different sorts of movies that get a "B" rating. Formulaic movies that manage to prove themselves to be enjoyable despite their conventionality, and more daring films that don't quite reach their full potential. The Seafarer is of the latter variety. It has excellent animation and developed characters, but it just lacks the magic that makes films stand the test of time. It still makes for a fun time at the movies, but it doesn't carry the emotional weight of last years "Wings of Icarus."One very good thing about this movie is that the songs didn't slow things down as much as they have for others.
