YM!
Notes From The Otherspace A minus A = F Spoiler I loved the original draft a lot and how do I fell about this one you might ask, o island of grain noodles, I liked it better but had my problems (although yes I loved Meg’s arc, she felt a little bit whiny at times but it was understandable). The drama in here is very good and I liked the angle on Meg’s depression is expanded a bit more, the Otherspace and 2D animation is a pure fever dream and is a captivating story. A-   The Odyssey: Council Of The Dead corspes From the dead Spoiler Spoiler Although it could be a bit more streamlined, and yes a R rating would’ve been better due to the um... graphic nature to say the least, COTD is my favorite of the Odyssey saga so far. The action sequences are great, the characters I love, and is all and all the second best movie of CAYOM so far. I’m glad you focused only on this film this year, the payoff is worth it. Ezen Baklattan
The only time she felt close to whiny IMO was sort of justified in her being drunk, but I guess it’s not too big an issue.  Thanks for the great review!

YM!
Penguins:  B-  The Lonely: Like The Dark Victorian last year despite the obvious talent and potential, this movie tends to fall flat on it’s face too often. D  Cataclysmic: A action packed and suspenseful drama with strong characters. I loved both Lawrence and Affleck in this movie. However some moments feel slow but that’s a nitpick. A  RuPaul’s Best Friend Race: @Hiccup23 in all honesty you’re great writer and I look forward to work with you for GTA and all and all not the worse (if anyone’s the worse it’s me, I haven’t made a single film with a MC score higher than 70 or had a BP front runner) don’t take this personally but this movie sucked, it feels more suited for TV than a movie and isn’t entertaining. F Unknown Sender: This is a pretty trash horror movie. F   Edited April 25, 2018 by YourMother the Edgelord

When I first started the trilogy, I never expected him to have such a strong emotional arc in the story.  Surpised you liked Calypso, given how briefly she shows up at the end. YM!
May  Redeeming Love: Well, it was at least an interesting read. D- Bioshock: A surprising misfire from Numerator Pictures. I mean it has some moments in its action sequences but it’s extremely sloppy and disjointed. D+ Zoldar: Warrior Beast from Outer Space: A campy but slightly fun movie but does even for a parody has moments of absurdity and some characters feel very hollow. C  Aerophobia: A run of the mill horror movie enhanced by pretty solid if cheap hand drawn animation. C-  June  Dane The Alpaca: Hunt Productions first animated film will entertain kids and will benefit from no competition but it desperately like style or substance which is needed for musicals of this caliber and the characters are forgettable. C  Ripper: Tom Hardy nails it in this hard hitting thriller that hits it out of the park. A-  Finding Gobi: It’s cute and will make you leave feeling good but it’s still comes across as lacking something. C+  Second Wind: Stormy Seas: A lackluster, meaningless and often boring sequel. Like almost all of comedy sequels. D Call Of Duty: The 12 year old in me would love this movie. Although it suffers from the same problems Bioshock did and yes does sometimes feels neutered by its PG-13 rating is a fun ride that’ll leave you pleased. C+  The Hills Abduction: A pretty good mockumentary although sometimes underwhelming thriller. C+  Edited April 28, 2018 by YourMother the Edgelord 1 1

YM!
Few things: - Going to review the rest of July first then Scavenger, sorry @cookie - bumping Bioshock up to a D+. It’s trashy but it has moments of fun. Edited April 28, 2018 by YourMother the Edgelord
YM!
July (minus Scavenger Wars) Island Of The Blue Dolphins: Loved the both drafts of this, if it weren’t for NOD, I honestly think this would be the BAF frontrunner. The visuals are awe inspiring, the cast is fantastic, the story has it’s charms, and this should do well but it’s not for all kids. A- The Great Inferno: A forgettable but satisfying disaster movie however it lacks the sophistication of recent ones. C  Inversion: A pretty cool fantasy romance adventure, but I feel like it missed an opportunity. C-  Gentle Ben: Kids will like it, everyone else, eh.
