Zootopia - great week-to-week hold! 1 mln adm is locked, should be hurt this weekend by Robinson Crusoe but still very good numbers to expect

Planeta Singli (local) - harsh drop but because of the same demo with 7 rzeczy... still is overperforming!

Deadpool - another good hold, sub-50% great! 3rd wkd: +38,4% better vs AOU; cume after 3rd wkd: +3,8% DP (581 125) vs AOU (559 870). 4th wkd AOU hold was very good (sub-30%) but it has weak weekdays (over-50% drop).

But from a guy on the other side I get info that best heromovie after 1989 in Poland is Batman from 1989 but here realese date was in September 1990 and it stands at 701 880 - still DP should beat it in coming weeks

Pitbull (local) - still good hold, 1,5 mln is max I guess

• Zootopia - a little slow down 'cause of new animation debiut (Robinson Crusoe - expected OW) but still good hold and impressive cume. 1 mlm adm is close too!
• Historia Roja (local) - first feature film about important topic in couple of recent years in my country, but it has shitty reviews and should drop hard next weekend.

• Zootopia - very solid drop considering two animated movies is great performance  +1,25 mln 
• Historia Roja (local) - soft drop but with soft opening this movie won't earn much
• Planeta Singli, Deadpool, Pitbull - all with good hold, DP is stabilizating on lower levels of drop.
• Deadpool has already been best comic/hero movie in Poland!
• The Divergent Series: Allegiant with 11,4% worse OW than Insurgent last year (though fewer screens 151 vs 155 last year)
• Les Innocentes, Babysitting 2, Concussion, Sisters - too weak to talk about them
• Robinson Crusoe - typical family stuff movie, soft drop expected, but here we have even increase! A bit of surpise.

I didn't post the weekend charts' numbers from weekend before Easter cause I had been on holidays since Wednesday  Now I'm posting 18-20 of March and I hope tomorrow we will have numbers from Easter weekend  it's worth to mention that Easter weekend is the worst in whole year with theaters closed by 4 pm on Saturday and not opened till 3 pm on Sunday. Anyway there were some previews of couple movies (f.e. BvS - 3 days in IMAX, 1 show each and 2 days in normal cinemas) but their numbers won't be included Easter weekend charts.

Yes! It will happen! 100,000 million $ is about 373,000 mln PLN (it's almost half of year market gross!) but in 1994 and earlier we had other currency PLZ (old zloty) when 1 PLN = 10 000 PLZ (huge fucking freaky inflation!) so 

• 373,000 milion PLZ will be 37 300 000 PLN and that could really happen

ABOUT EASTER

 

There is no point to show how weak and boring and meh that weekend was.

Numbers ridiculously low and they don't have almost any impact to total grosses of movies.

It's enough to say that only 13k adm was needed to take 1st place.

Also whole market was olblated cause 10th movies sold only 10k less tickets.

• BvS - consider two greatest superheroes of the time this OW is disappoiting. Of course there are some cons of release date, which had major impact, like OW just after Easter, good wheather, first spring trips and stuff
• Kung Fu Panda 3 - better OW than Kung Fu Panda 2 but lower than original.
• Zootopia - still good even hit by Po 
• MBFGW 2 - nothing special, mediocre OW, no chance to beat first movie (cume: 337 k)
• Pitbull - more awesome legs! It was able to beat Planeta Singli (local) even that it is 2 weeks more in theaters!

I would say it's quite good considering fact that comic/hero movies aren't popular here. I don't have any data to compare this numbers - I know only that presales of Star Wars were much higher but there wasn't any "marathons" . But Star Wars was almost 3 million admissions movie and comic/hero movies are sub 800k admissions movies - comparing them is inappropriate.

Everything is really nice shaping and it only one of 3 chains plus many many small and medium cinemas. It might beat Deadpool at the end

After weekend there are some significant increases also "marathons" in other chains sell quite good. There is no "sell-outs" and probably there won't be any because in Poland, even with movie like Star Wars VII with almost 3 mln admissions, sell-outs were very very rare I mean maybe only special midnight shows had been sold-out but nothing more. First rows suck totally and no one buy them. [Once in my whole life I was sitting in 3rd row in rather small cinema hall (American Sniper) and I didn't have fun and comfort from watching it - there was to close to screen.] So fill cinema halls with 85-90% is max that's signal that movie is selling well.
