Avatar got $19,7 mln in its first weekend, but the dollar was worth only 30.5 rubles in 2009. So Noah earned more in the ruble terms. Rentrak corrected it but still daily grosses look very strange. 66 mln RUB for La Belle & la Bête is the 4th best start for French language movies after Taxi 4 and two Asterix and Obelix films.
