6 N The Watch Fox $ 573.130 - 589.484 1
7 N Heiter bis wolkig Constantin $ 548.792 - 715.306 1
8 N Cabin in the Woods Universum $ 490.304 - 670.765 1

12 9 The Dark Knight Rises WB $ 396.355 -49,8 37.622.542 7

Bad drops all over the map. Fun fact: While in Germany+Austria accumulated, the three big openers ended up very close on ranks 6, 7 and 8, there were big differences between Austria and Germany. In Austria, Watch was nr.3, CitW 5th and Hbw 9th; in Germany: Hbw 5th, Watch 7th, CitW 10th. Also, in Austria Ex2 was in front $-wise too, not just admissions like in Germany.

The coming weekend should hopefully see low drops; the only major opener will be "The Bourne Legacy" which will be nr.1 and hurt Ex2 and TR. The 3rd Bourne film had about double the admissions of Ex1; even without Matt Damon this should be able to at least match Ex2.

How far do you see Bourne going? It needs a breakout.

If it does the same as Bourne3 that would be sensational. If it does half it would be poor. My expectations lie halfway inbetween, so I really don't smell a breakout, just a decent run. Especially with Ex2 and TR still in theaters and later in September RE:R and german TilSchweiger-actioner "Schutzengel" opening and eating into the target demographic.

Okay Ultimatum did 14m in Germany. That would be fantastic.

Hmmm ... if the first weekend trend is not completely off, B:L opens on the poor side of expectations and it will be difficult to reach 1mil admissions whil Ex2 has a good hold and stays on track to maybe 1.2million.

How much money is 250,000 admissions?

Well we know this isn't a kid's movie or 3D. So I'll go with the 9.72 and multiply from there. So is it 250k admissions for the opening day? Edited by ECSTASY

Saturday trend even lowers the expectations ... 240k admissions fot the 4-day-weekend is really on the lowest side of expectations. Nearly a disaster. Other numbers:Ex2: 135kSU4: 100kTed: 75kToRome: 60kSo, not a bad weekend, but very weak opening for Bourne Legacy.

Why are people rejecting Bourne Legacy? Is it because they don't recognize the star? Is it getting bad reviews? I don't understand why it would underperform like that.
