Black Panther grossed $24.9m in Brazil since its release, I expected it to reach 24-24.5m this weekend so I was really close once again :)

It's enough to make it pass Jumanji as the highest-grossing movie of the year :)

I expect it to be at 29-30m this weekend and while it's too early to bet on the final tally I expect it to reach 34-36m in the end, that'd be more than Wonder Woman and Spider-Man Homecoming.

If Black Panther alone can do that in Brazil then the best is yet to come with Avengers 3 even if we need to be cautious after Justice League.

I hope BP can achieve anything close to 40

That seems unlikely, very hard to achieve with the current exchange rate...For a movie to reach $40m an OW beyond $10m is necessary and good legs after. For now The Avengers 3 seems to be the only one able to reach that, and $50m will be VERY HARD.

MARCH 22: Pacific Rim Uprising

Don't expect igreat numbers, not even good ones, Brazil doesn't seem to like this kind of movies. But maybe it can beat the 1st movie?

BLACK PANTHER: $27.1m Thursday

My prediction of 29-29.5m for this weekend seems close to the truth once again.

The Top 5 is rounded out by the UK ($55.8M), Korea ($42.4M), Brazil ($29.6M) and Australia ($25.7M). For those keeping score, the total in Japan is now $8.9M.

I was quite right once again, I'M A MAGICIAN!!
