Fullbuster
I don't have numbers for the Venezuela Box Office but honestly when I see that : Indicators show Venezuela's economy moves towards recession Economic research firm estimates Venezuela's gross domestic product fell 3% in the first quarterThe Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) has failed to meet its obligation to disclose the country's economic performance. Key indicators unveil, though, that the country is heading for recession, which technically occurs when the GDP shrinks for two consecutive quarters. In its latest report, research firm Ecoanalítica outlines that cuts in the sale of foreign currency to the private sector, a downturn in tax collection, and the collapse of car manufacturing are clear signs that the Venezuelan economy is on the brink of recession. The firm stressed that according to the National Center for Foreign Trade (Cencoex), the amount of foreign currency allocated to the private sector in January-April totaled USD 2.2 billion, 44.6% below that of January-April 2012.The figures of the Central Bank of Venezuela indicate that 80.9% of imports is intermediate goods and capital goods. Hence, contraction in the sale of foreign currency implies companies do not have enough raw material and equipment for production.A total of 6,161 vehicles we assembled in the first half, a sharp drop of 83% if contrasted with the same period in 2013.Meanwhile, tax collection, another indicator of how businesses are doing, slowed 1.8% in the first half after the inflation effect.Furthermore, Ecoanalítica estimates a drop of 3-3.5% of the GDP in the first quarter. For its part, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean is not optimistic either, and forecasts the Venezuelan economy is likely to shrink 0.5%, while growth in Latin America and the Caribbean could hit 2.2%, led by Panama, Bolivia, and Colombia. http://www.eluniversal.com/economia/140812/indicators-show-venezuelas-economy-moves-towards-recession I don't think it will be able to grow before a while, such a crisis can't be without effect on the box office, it will be affected one way or another. According to Datanàlisis about 10% of Venezuela are taking steps for emigrating, mostly in the United States. For economic and demographic reasons I think Colombia will be a bigger market than Venezuela and Argentina in a few years. Fullbuster
I hope TE3 will do good business in Brazil. TE2 had a great run there! Apparently there are real expectations about it so I think it will do very well However beware : God's Not Dead will be released the same day (tomorrow) and it should surprise us, there is some kind of buzz about it on Adorocinema, Brazilians really seem interested in movies about religious matters. It's strange because it's a US movie and I never heard of it!
