Fullbuster
Anyone know why europien people don't like to go to the cinema? Cause europe is a big economie, but don't go as much to movies like the americans Americans consume more than Europeans : bigger houses, bigger cars, more food, more videogames..and so on.It reflects a higher standard of living and buying power through higher salaries and lower taxes. A part of it is also a matter of cultural factors, some cultures are more linked to cinema than others. In the US Hollywood is part of the US history, of its culture. Fullbuster
I'm a bit disappointed about GOTG, it just grossed $1.4m in one week, $20m won't be easy to reach, but it should be done, I hope so Edited August 25, 2014 by Fullbuster

Fullbuster
According to Filme B The Expendables 3 grossed 7.895m reais OW => $3.5m OW It's slightly lower than TE2's OW => $3.7m However the exchange rate is not the same and is disadvantageous now so that means it probably grossed a bit more in local currency. Its gross will be close to TE2's ($16.5m), we could expect better but a stagnation is still better than the strong decrease which took place in the US and Russia.
