Most of Twilight fans are girls and women. When it adds new girls to its audience it enjoys a big advantage : many of these women's boyfriends are forced to watch it with them,so it's not that weird.

men should have resisted :P

but i get why they went to see Twilight

its THE film to mock @ the theater

should be seen with a crows & preferably with alcohol

Bah..Next year it will be replaced by a new phenomenon : 50 shades of grey.

I'm even less interested in it than it's the case for Twilight

I don't expect a big gross, maybe 10-12m, 14m max.

You're forgetting that Frozen is the only animation in Brazil in january and that nobody goes to school now. It will dominate the entire month.

Weekend results:The Lego Movie rules again with $1.37 M. Total $3.8 M in 9 days. The Monuments Men opens on second with $1 M.The Book Thief keeps doing very good falling only 11% to $0.92 M.

Thank you for these stats :)

Lego seems quite slow in the end :/ But that's ok, I didn't expect Brazil to be a big market for it, I don't even know if it's a famous brand there.
