It's still an improvement over the first one, you can't complain ^^

However the increase was much more impressive in Brazil.

I kmow, I know. Better to increase than to drop, right? But given how Frozen and The Croods both made over 25m, I thoth the same for HTTYD2 at least. And look how DM2 increased!

But yeah, what they did to Dragons was not cool.

HTTYD2 has been more frontloaded than anticipated in most markets. How much of it was World Cup, how much was TF4, and how much was due to it not holding as well due to being much more serious than other animated films, I just can't say.

Oh, and certainly after the strong OW it had here I thought 25 would be easy. Just saying.

It was all because of the WorldCup. The second weekend of Dragons had decisive games, In bofh places, Brazil and Mexico. So it dropped hard. If the movie had not been released during the World Cup, I think It would have made more money.

In Brasil it had a huge drop in its second weekend but revitalized after that, and it is going to close with $24m (I think).

I always check on the official site (National Bureau of Cinematography or something like that in English) and they report on Mondays (Thu-Sun) and on Thurdays for the week (Thu-Wed)
