Carlangonz
MARCH 29-31 WEEKEND. DUMBO IS THE THIRD HIGHEST OPENING FOR A DISNEY LIVE-ACTION ADAPTATION. CAPTAIN MARVEL CROSSES $600M LC AND $30M USD; AIMS TO BEAT BATMAN V SUPERMAN AS 6TH HIGHEST GROSSER SH TITLE. Dumbo - Third highest opening ever for a Disney live-action adaptation only behind Beauty and the Beast and Maleficent. - 5.77% behind Maleficent’s opening and 27.84% above Jungle Book’s first frame. - It’s going to share family audiences with Shazam and Captain Marvel from here until Endgame release, so I see no problem on it hitting $350M+ lc. Captain Marvel - Already passed Iron Man 3 as highest Marvel solo title and Aquaman as highest SH solo release. - Should pass Batman v Superman as 6th biggest SH movie ever only behind 3 Avengers, Incredibles 2 and Civil War. # MOVIE WEEKEND % CHANGE TOTAL (MXN) TOTAL (USD) ADM. Carlangonz
Cinépolis already updating A theatre in Puebla isn't messing around and already put all their 18 screens to midnights. 1
Carlangonz
Got my tickets before the Cinépolis' app started to get overwhelmed. It hasn't crashed but you really need to get patience. Every single theatre I saw is booking midnights at every single one of their screens. I saw a few theatres running shows from 12:00 AM until 3:00 AM.

I've read on Twitter that some theaters on the US are already planning 24 hour showings for EG. I don't know if it's serious. Purple Minion
Absolutely insane. 56 shows for Endgame on opening day in just one single Cinépolis at a medium-size city, and every single theatre has a midnight show. 3
carlsalf38
Didn't realize Pre-Sales began so early and I haven't been able to buy any ticket neither in the App nor the Web Page... I think Cinepolis just closed the connection and will wait until the crazyness happens. This will be huge really... really huge

Carlangonz
Quick recap: At the time of this report, Cinépolis' app still bugging As @UserHN pointed out, theatres are adding more and more shows so the runtime won't affect as much as many think. Cinépolis Universidad (4th highest grosser in the country) is opening since 8:00 AM for the opening weekend. Many theatres are following these steps. Unlike last year, this time most of theatres in the country opened all of their screens since Day 1 of PS. I'll keep track of showtimes to see if can take over $10M+ OD. 2 1
