Carlangonz
Number of shows in both Cinépolis and Cinemex places above Infinity War. Sales on Cinépolis are surprisingly not too far from it (at the same point of release) but at Cinemex is playing closer to TROS (a week and a half before opening) so likely it'll pick up if gets spillover from sellouts at Cinépolis.

Purple Minion
Sonic 2 is obliterating Morbius in screens, getting all the 4DX (but not the IMAX). Hope we have another 100M+ opener. Local movie Y cómo es él getting an OK amount of shows.

Carlangonz
Sales at Cinemex for Multiverse of Madness at about 40% from Infinity War at the same point before release even though number of shows is higher as is shown below comparing midnights v previews IW EG MOM 12 cities 857 1553 949 10 cities 857 1486 884 At Cinépolis, number of shows from Thursday + Wednesday previews is 2,627 versus 3,356 from No Way Home's full opening day. Considering OD is on a holiday, I think the number from it plus previews could rise up towards $170M which would put it in the same ballpark as Infinity War unadjusted.

Purple Minion
Great $6.3M opening for Sonic 2, about 125M lc. The Batman took a big hit, total is $30.1M which means the whole week was 10-11M lc. I can only imagine the damage inflicted to Morbius.
Shanks
Weekend: 7th to 10th April Sonic 2 - $122.1m [OW} Morbius- $28.9m // $121.4m ¿Y cómo es él? - $20.1m [OW] Batman - $10.6m // $619.6m The Bad Guys - $4.9m // $91.3m The Desperate Hour - $3.4m [OW] Ambulance - $2.8m // $47.3m JJK 0 - $1.6M // $37m Dos más Dos - $818k // $7.4m The Exorcism of God - $624k // $34.5m
Issac Newton
JJK Movie 0 is MEX$30.3M away from Demon Slayer (MEX$67.3M /802.9K attendees). Despite being a bigger OW than DS, it's legs looks fracture in absence of premium formats and as expected from fan-rush movies.
Carlangonz
Can't really tell anything concrete on Dumbledore's fate this weekend. Results overseas are clearly a bad omen and even tho presales have shown strenght for Wed night previews and premium formats through the weekend there's certainly a possibility for weaker than expected walk-ups. Holidays should help with walk-ups but Sonic seems more like the family option. Even a 25% drop in admissions across the 4-Day + Previews from its predecessor's 3-Day puts it above $120M and on par with Sonic 2 but I wouldn't rule out something between $100M-$110M after seeing overseas and Sonic 2 this past weekend. Sub-$100M would be disastrous but can't see it happening.

Purple Minion
TSOD got the highest share of screens, including IMAX and 4X, but Sonic 2 is holding there. Batman and Morbius are just an afterthought. We should see good numbers overall because of Easter.

Surprisingly; Sonic is keeping the largest screen of several locations in some 2nd and 3rd tier markets. SoD has been selling pretty well on Fri and Sat but I wonder how much it might hurt legs and Sonic was a bit low on Fri but showing a better performance on Sat. Batman getting some spillover before it arrives on HBO Max this Monday.
Purple Minion
It's le-vio- SA! Great $7.1M OW for Dumbledore, about 140M lc. Hope it's not too frontloaded. Sonic 2 reached $12.7M, The Bad Guys $4.8M and The Batman $30.7M. The Northman opened to $0.9M. Purple Minion
Yikes, Canacine posted weekly figures rather than weekend... again. But solid numbers overall, all in lc: 1. FB: The Secrets of Dumbledore 143.6M/143.6M, but audience is 1.8M, the lowest of the trilogy. 2. Sonic 2 123M/251.6M, still 100M away from the first one. 3. Morbius 25.9M/147.4M 4. ¿Y cómo es él? 23.8M/44.1M 5. The Northman 18.5M/18.5M (NE) 6. The Batman 11.4M/631M, ties with Dawn of Justice and breaks into the all time Top 20 in lc, although it's nowhere near the Top 40 in audience. 7. The Bad Guys 6.4M/97.6M, there's such a huge appetite for kids movies. 8. Look Behind 5.8M/5.8M (NE) 9. The Desperate Hour 3M/6.5M 10. Ambulance 2.3M/46.9M.
