Purple Minion
Weekend numbers. Either Disney is using a different ER or overestimating TFA numbers. Still, US$20M is not a bad total after 11 days. Low openings for Miss You Already and Steve Jobs. Purple Minion
I was also expecting way more, but the gross is in line with other non-English speaking countries. I think only in the UK and US it'll become the #1 movie ever. Actual weekend numbers, lots of new openings = Alvin and the Chipmunks and Concussion did well all things considered. Yes, in fact are good numbers. But i can´t understand why it´s so lower compared to Furious 7 or Minions? When i went to the midnight showing, and saw the mega crowded theather, i thought that this would be a phenomenon, sadly i was mistaken.
