With today's 71,725 admissions, Elemental has now reached a 16.03x FSS multiplier in South Korea, surpassing the multiplier of Aladdin (16.02x). It is now the second leggiest Hollywood movie in South Korea, trailing only Bohemian Rhapsody which ended its run with a 19.01x multiplier.

I hope Disney gives Elemental a re-expansion in the next few weeks to push it over 500m, otherwise it will rely on Japan and Korea late legs to push it over the hump

Oof, almost a 2mil drop from 293.4 -> 291.45 on TheNumbers, Mojo still has it at 293.9 though, are they including some weekday numbers in certain territories?

Numbers are incorrect. With all of BOMs flaws it is more accurate when it comes to OS gross.

Assuming 30% drops from the rest of the world...

 

I think Elemental will need $30 million from Japan to guarantee a $500 million ww total.

That would be 4.4 billion yen. Hard ask. I think it's going to fall a bit short. By maybe $10 million or so.

Would need consistent drops of 25% or under to reach 500M. Not impossible but unlikely as of now.

In Japan it made ~$4.8m in the last Mon - Sun period, of which Mon - Fri was fully/partially inflated by Obon, it probably makes ~$3m in a normal week. That would mean it would have only made ~$12m OS in a normal week which would be a 33% drop, which is too high to get to $500m. The only way it gets there now IMO is if Europe sees biblical weather over the next few weeks or it pulls a Slam Dunk in Japan legs-wise

I’m still optimistic it’ll hit $500m - seems like it made ~$8m in Europe and the weather has been full of sunshine - looks like next weekend it’s rainy in the UK, France and Germany so we might see small drops. Kinda ironic that the elements will decide Elemental’s fate 😎
