If my math is correct, this is the second best second weekend drop for a $100m+ opener, behind only Top Gun Maverick.

Not seeing it mentioned much either how it’s the biggest 2nd weekend ever for a non-sequel. That alone is crazy. Unless we consider BP non-sequel, but it feels like all of MCU stuff should be considered sequels in a sense.

If BP is sort of a sequel because it´s part of a huge franchise stablished before, so Mario is too

Curious what the initial Monday estimates will look like. Could see anything from 5-7.5 and not be surprised tbh.
