Yes, I still want to go with it. Feels like among Transformers, Little Mermaid &MI7, MI7 certain winning this trio game. Rest is upto opening Day 

I don't doubt that it will do well. I think it will beat MI6 easily. But gap between MI6 and 2 is really big (4.7b vs 9.7b). That would need a massive bump for MI.

 

Also, it is releasing just 1 week after How do you Live. That is not a good date for a breakout imo as I believe How do you Live? will break out huge.

Insane GW propelled by conan breakout and of course mario opening on GW and smashing. We don't really get big GW openers usually.  Also MER did really well.

 

As for mario, looking at tue expecting

Hoping for higher weekend jump but I am not really sure. Something like 550-600 would be really good and a nice insurance that the film can make up for weak weekdays over the weekend. If it jumps like doraemon it can get there. We shall see.

Wed is a bit on the tough side to estimate after AEON went missing but that seems right. So atleast it came a bit above what I expected though to be fair I had a bearish number there since I wasn't sure if this had female appeal so I went low on wed. Otherwise pretty normal trend. It had slightly worse bump than both MER and Conan again but it was fairly close today so that is ok. Still poor weekdays all around.

 

Thursday can come above or below my number tomorrow. I honestly still am not sure how wide this toho event is so that 150M is pretty random. But doesn't really matter either way.

 

For now all eyes are on the weekend. Hopefully 550M+ sat for good weekends moving forward. 450M would still be a good bump but not really sure that's enough to make up for the weekdays.
