elinio
Good because the box office was very weak (except Un Ptit Truc en Plus) since April. With Le comte de Monte Cristo next week , and after that Minions, Twisters, Deadpool, Garfield, Largo Winch, the end of June and July will be good. From what info I could gather from Insidekino it’s the 9th largest animated start since 2005 (behind Frozen 2, Minions, Tintin, Shrek 4, Ice Age 3, Ratatouille, Shrek 3, Ice Age 2). For some reason part of the list has 7 day weeks and another part is Wed-Sun, so that’s why I got it wrong. Also a possibility that older movies (Lion King or Cinderella) might be on this list but I’m guessing there’s no OW data that far back
elinio
Next week with the debut of Le comte de monte cristo, and with Inside out and of course la fete du cinéma (tickets à 5 euros dimanche jusqu'à mercredi), it will be massive. I expect a fantastic hold for Inside Out. Edited June 24 by elinio

elinio
The comte of monte cristo will be release friday. Expect a big week-end with this one, inside out and un ptit truc en +. Sunday (beginning of national cinema week) will probably be one of the best day of the year for cinemas. . There are also a quiet place, kind of kindness and a dany boon movie who are in theaters since today. Huge lineup. In my local theater, tickets for sunday for the comte of monte cristo sell very well. Edited June 26 by elinio
Grand Cine
Around 1,3M dollars for IO2 wednesday so around 160K admissions . Very good hold for Thursday with around 800K dollars and only -40% drop ( compare to 60% drop last week) . With weekend and the equivalent of national week , Sunday-Wednesday , I expect 1-1,1M admissions for the weekend . Also we have the beginning of big local movie : Le comte de Monte Cristo , pretty good audience score with 4/5. I think he will begin at 1st place today but lost for IO2 the rest of the week.
