Nominated for 11 Oscars, won 3

Synopsis: The aging patriarch of an organized crime dynasty transfers control of his clandestine empire to his reluctant son.

Trivia: Was behind its sequel in points until about the halfway point of the competition.

I am starting to worry about what will be number 1. Of the remaining movies with a chance, I thought The Godfather or Empire Strikes Back would take it. I am hoping Pulp Fiction pulls a surprise upset at this point, even though it wasn't on my list, because it would be a major surprise (and a pleasant surprise) to have a movie released by Disney owned Miramax as number 1. I just don't want to see FOTR. Edited by Walt Disney

So many great films not on the list, Oldboy, Office Space, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Glengarry Glen Ross, Silence of the Lambs, Adaptation., The King's Speech, The Artist, Amalie, Once!

You really are a Disney fan if that's the main reason you want it to win.
