druv10
Thor should do well in Europe, Thor 1 did good numbers there. Not only Europe but also Asia and Latin America. I wouldn't be shocked with 600-700M OS for Thor, as it made almost the same amount money OS as IM1.
Leyla
Big 25m OD (est.) ... good news 4 Wolvie

A Marvel Fanboy
Thursday: 1. Wolverine --- 23.5m --- new --- 23.5m 2. NYSM --- 4.6m --- -42% --- 90m 3. Love Will Tear Us Apart --- 4.4m --- -32% --- 58.2m 4. YDD --- 3.8m --- -43% --- 574m 5. Out of Inferno --- 0.8m --- -55% --- 128m Ranger died as Wolverine arrives. YDD should cross 600m sometime next week. Pretty good OD for Wolverine. Biggest opening day (and OW) in October history. But dont expect WOM/legs to be any good. 200M locked, $40m (240m) possible, thanks to less competition until Thor 2. Love Will Tear Us Apart, a local rommance drama, has proved itself to be a sleeping hit. Donnie Yen's Special ID, an action cop flick set in Shenzhen, opens on Friday and looks to be doing solid business. fmpro
Im happy with that wolvie number..That puts it in line to be the 2nd highest X-Men movie ever..Thats a succes!!!It will clearly be bumbed to 3rd next year when DOFP will blow past any other releases.. By far..If wolvie can do 280 mill alone i cant see why DOFP wont do 400 mill OS and 600 mill+ WW

A Marvel Fanboy
Saturday: 1. Wolverine --- 35.6m --- +58% --- 82.5m 2. Special ID --- 24.5m --- +17% --- 45.6m 3. NYSM --- 8m --- +81% --- 103m 4. Love Will Tear Us Apart --- 5.5m --- +19% --- 67m 5. YDD --- 4.4m --- +69% --- 581m Right expected Saturday number for Wolverine. Close to 110M $17.9m 4-days opening, October record in bag. A possible $40m tally could really set a good basis for next year's X-MEN: Days of Future Past. Strong 65M OW for Special ID. 150M total is possible. The cop action movie does really well in third/four-tier cities due to Donnie Yen's star power. Weekly (10.14~10. 20) Top 5 will be like: 1. Wolverine --- 110m --- NEW --- 110m 2. Special ID --- 65m --- NEW --- 65m 3. Love Will Tear Us Apart --- 57m --- +280% --- 72m 4. NYSM --- 49m --- -18% --- 109m 5. YDD --- 39m --- -65% --- 585m LeVision's Love Will Tear Us Apart is really doing great, especially considering its genre, which is romantic drama with a sad story, not a romantic-comedy. NYSM is holding Meh. $22m total is still happening though, which is not bad. Typical 4th week drop for YDD. Should cross the 600M mark by next Sunday.
