Well, of course, but China do not want any conflict at all. They are a peaceful nation, and they have a code of conduct with international relations to settle things peacefully. If Japan up the stakes, just like they did with their patrol boats, then China will surely appease them. However, China can hurt Japan economically, but they need to act now, much like they did with the banning of certain movies.

All says how much Chinese audience love Titanic.

In the past 18 years (1995-2012), HW won Ten times. And of that James Cameron alone won Four times with only Three releases (his only three releases so far in China).

True Lies was the first HUGE hit for Hollywood in China. It was the most attended movie in the whole 1990s before Titanic. Arnold was already well known before 1995 in China but only TL made him a real household name. In the early-middle 1990s, cinemas were almost killed by video halls. And then cinemas got killed again by VCDs.

Titanic was a true phenomena. It saved a lot cinemas from bankrupt. Many theaters were selling Titanic ticket as high as crazy 100 yuan. [How much is 100 yuan ? Well, it is exactly three time the current movie average movie ticket price. Only a few IMAX theaters in big cities can sell tickets at 100 yuan.] Everyone sees it (via different ways) and everyone talks about it, pretty much like everwhere else in around the world, if not it had a much bigger impact in China. In the end, Titanic became the all time top grosser, for 11 years.

Well, it was not the end. 14 years later, on the exactly same day, April 10, titanic 3D totally destroyed what everyone could imagine. It was such a beast that many people have no idea why, why it was such a beast.

This. 250K soldiers they have, not so many but very refined. And their weapons are highly advanced (they have great techs). Their navy can beat Chinese navy easily. Edited by firedeep
