And what are the films that have performed as per high expectations or even exceeded them?

The Man from Macau 2 did somewhat better than expected with close to 1B.

So did The Wolf Totam with nearly 700m.

Wolf Warriors has crossed 530m now but most had it just around 100m before release.

 

Among imported films, BH6 did better than expected while F7 definitely destroyed everyone's forecast.

It's still the quota system.

 

Out of the 34 revenue-sharing titles each year, 20 must not include 2D release/copies, all solely decided by CFGC.
