Journey to the West movies seem overdone to me and boring The question wasn't about which of the movies are our cup of tea although I must say I'd rather watch another JTTW adaptation rather than watch a CGI-fest with no substance like TGW.. The question was which movie is gonna gross more and realistically speaking, JTTW is projected to earn more because of several factors namely 1) CNY 2) Stephen Chow and Tsui Hark and 3) It's JTTW. TGW results are disappointing for a movie of its magnitude.
Olive
8 hours to go Friday presales - showtimes The Wasted Times 22.2M 40.4% Railroud Tigers 7.76M 22% TGW 3.05M 18.5% Seems that many theater chains decide to give priority to TWT, but I doubt it opnes more than 100M yuan. Just 2.8% of shows, down from 14% from today, was 7% last Friday. With TWT OD looking less than 100m maybe HR regains shows again quickly.

Olive
Moana's run has been extended for another month, but won't make much since showtimes won't be enough. MAybe 205-210M range, very good legs. Edited December 22, 2016 by Olive

Girl you sound so mad and agressive is that because Kris wu who is apparently your bias is playing in it ? you keep posting some random "bad reviews" of TGW to down grade him. you are the same user how say TRaiders wouldn't make 1b but look how much he makes now.

Are you lost? Looking at your profile you're the one who just recently made an account here and that was only to defend Time Raiders which suspiciously enough stars Lu Han. This isn't a place for fangirl feelings.
Olive
Wen Zhang is a good actor if he doesn't has his personal issues, so bad that he dumped himself. If JTTW2 is staring him instead of Kris WU, I would anticipate it much more.

Rumor says that he was the one to be considered to play the role of Deng Chao's in Mermaid and got replaced after his affairs.

Celebrity scandals are interesting in China because I think a lot of them are usually able to bounce back but it would probably depend on how big their name was before the scandal (Jackie Chan is riddled with scandals for example). To deviate from the topic a bit, I'm also really surprised Railroad Tigers isn't in the lead for tomorrow. I thought the trailer was quite interesting and well.. it's Jackie Chan. See You Tomorrow on the other hand doesn't seem appealing based on the trailer. I like Tony Leung though so I hope the best for his movie. Wong Kar Wai produced it so it can't be that bad. I have engaged in multiple conversations here for more than a year. You just made an account a few months ago and your first post was to attack someone for disliking Time Raiders. One can see who's the troll/fangirl here. I'll just leave you to your hurt feelings. Maybe try making more new accounts to like your posts while you're at it.
