SchumacherFTW
What's it like in the Sydney IMAX? I've wanted to go there for years!
Robertron
It's ok. It looks really cool from the outside (I think) and its location is amazing - it's awesome driving along the raised highway and passing it as you head in or out of the city!As for the inside, the foyer is a bit outdated (at least it was the last time I was there), and it's nothing special inside (no fancy wall decorations, seating, lighting, etc)I really want to go to BFI - we should swap! Robertron
If you pay for flights i'd be more than happy to By the time it happened, it'd probably be cheaper than paying for your IMAX ticket
Jonwo
The Sydney IMAX is nice but I prefer the BFI IMAX, it's a nice building both inside and out.
Omario
Bfi imax waterloo have the worst cinema seats I have ever sat in. There is absolutely no leg room. U have to sit in an upright position with your legs together. Really hard to enjoy a long movie when you have to keep shuffling your legs. SchumacherFTW
That's my only gripe about BFI, the Legroom. But considering I go twice a year at most and that my local Odeon is far, far worse it isn't a huge problem for me.
CoolioD1
There's an IMAX really close to me in a science museum. It's really cool. Go whenever I can. I've seen a couple films in BFI IMAX and I don't think it's as good.
Omario
Yh I'm hoping to try out the science museum next time. I know they usually show documentaries though. All the stuff bfi used to show. If man of steel is shown there I will definitely try it out. Is the legroom better coolio? May see star strek 2 in an imax cinema in Canada if I decide to go in May. SchumacherFTW
I'm heading up to BFI for Star Trek in May. If it's filmed in IMAX i'm making the trip there now, if it's just a remastered IMAX release I use the cineworld in Crawley as it's cheaper for me.
