TLK
Woah. 82% is a big Sun-Mon drop for an Adam Sandler movie. Isn't it?
baumer
Woah. 82% is a big Sun-Mon drop for an Adam Sandler movie. Isn't it?Yes, this proves that it was not his fanbase that came out to this one, but more families looking for some fun. An 82% drop is more akin to a kids movie dropping on a Monday. Jay Beezy
Yes, this proves that it was not his fanbase that came out to this one, but more families looking for some fun. An 82% drop is more akin to a kids movie dropping on a Monday.Which also means with the multitude of family films coming up, this looks to get lost in the dust. Wednesday's gross could be below a million. Edited November 15, 2011 by Jay Beezy
RichWS
That's a massive drop. PSA of $294. The floor has already collapsed beneath it. Edited November 15, 2011 by RichWS

RichWS
Immortals held pretty well. It could have taken a bigger tumble.
baumer
I think JJ could fall about 60% this weekend. If it's at say a mill by Thursday, If it increases like a family film you could see:Friday: 3.0Sat: 4.5Sun: 2.710.2 mill
CJohn
JandJ is playing as a kids movie then. Ugly drop.
rockNrollaDIM
The $26m OW alone was a victory, no matter how shitty the run is from here out.

RichWS
It cost $80M. They have to make that back.

The 18 and under group that gave Jack an A- are likely to be occupied with that and Twilight. I wouldn't be surprised if it made less than 10M this weekend. That might just be wishful thinking on mine and other peoples' parts, but the factors are there for it to happen. Jay Beezy
It cost $80M. They have to make that back. They might earn it back with worldwide grosses, but 80M might not be in the cards domestically.
Robertron
It cost $80M. They have to make that back.Thats just ridiculous! Half of that is probably for Sandler and his two roles, and writing, directing and producing (If he did all of them as usual)

Mojoguy
Jack and Jill is going to completely collapse this weekend. Everyone that wanted to see it already saw it on the first weekend.
