Dementeleus
I'm not sure what's loonier, the JLaw freaks or ric hyperventilating over Streep.
riczhang
I hated last year. Mostly cause I wanted clooney. Well last year wasn't the best, I wanted Oldman to win but didn't mind Dujardin. But, Meryl's win made all the wrongs 150% right.

Oscar season brings the worst out in me. You'll see that side go to sleep until Cannes after which it'll return in full force, with a vengeance. This was one hell of an awards season. It felt so fucking long, but at least it'll die down for a few months before we rinse and repeat.
Jack Nevada
I never saw the Iron Lady. Its a shitty movie, and even though Streep is extremely convincing a Thatcher the movie nor she never get deeper than the surface level, because of a poor script Edited February 25, 2013 by Jack Nevada

riczhang
Its a shitty movie, and even though Streep is extremely convincing a Thatcher the movie or she never get deeper than the surface level, because of a poor script She totally got deeper than the surface. Her scenes as Old Thatcher are some of the best work done in film since Meryl's best ever performance in Sophie's Choice. Her eyes conveyed so much about her. The hint of regret restrained by her pride, and ego which never really died down.

Sims
Beast of Southern Wild got zero wins LOL, don't care. It was made for chump change and it got three unknowns on the map. It was nominated for four above-the-line categories. They didn't expect to win. The movie's already sealed its place in history. Sorry.
