Jake Gittes
Miguel Ferrer is back. http://www.avclub.com/article/miguel-ferrer-return-twin-peaks-227936 "While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman".
The Stingray
Too bad Michael Ontkean ain't returning as Sheriff Truman. I guess Robert Forster is a good replacement tho.

Jake Gittes
Love all that peace and serenity interrupted by that creepy distorted footage of... whoever that is. (Leland? Cooper with white hair?). Classic Lynch. I'm more excited for this than I ever was for new Star Wars.

Jake Gittes
So the revival has finished filming what's being called its "first two seasons" And Sherilyn Fenn tweeted this with the message "Audrey Horne lives" a few days back before deleting it. Jake Gittes
Either Lynch is trolling us, or Monica Bellucci, Jim Belushi, Michael Cera, Richard Chamberlain, Jeremy Davies, Laura Dern, Robert Forster, Balthazar Getty, Ernie Hudson, Ashley Judd, David Koechner, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Matthew Lillard, Trent Reznor, Tim Roth, Amanda Seyfried, Tom Sizemore, Eddie Vedder and Naomi Watts are ALL in the revival. And that's in addition to most of the old cast members. http://variety.com/2016/film/news/twin-peaks-cast-list-revealed-1201759934/

Lynch can probably get whoever he wants.
Jake Gittes
He definitely can, I'm just surprised there's even a place for all of those people in whatever this new story is. I trust him, but hopefully it doesn't turn into Wacky Celebrity Cameo: The Series.

Incarnadine
Episodes 1 and 2 air tonight and I'm about half way through #2. I'm having a hard time following the story, it's just so bizzarre and completely batshit crazy.
Dementeleus
I caught episode 1 and it's delightful. Lynch is back in wackadoo mode and life couldn't be better.

Hatebox
Saw the first couple of episodes and loved them. My biggest concern was that this would be an exercise in pointless nostalgia, and boy was it anything but.

Darth Homer
Anybody want to talk about the total mindfuck that was episode 8? I don't know what that episode was (it certainly didn't feel like classic Twin Peaks) but it was the weirdest, most disturbing and yet strangely beautiful hour of TV I've seen in years. Kudos to Lynch for showing he's still got his youthful Eraserhead-era passion and to Showtime for letting him and Mark Frost get away with it.
