ChD
Journey Best Achievement in Production Design Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Song (Austin Wintory - "I was born for this") Best Achievement in Editing Best Achievement in Visual Effects Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score (Austin Wintory) Best Achievement in Cinematography As I did with To The Moon, I feel like the only one who can do justice to a movie that's been adapted from a game, is none other than the game composer. The soundtrack is very similar to the game, but it's changed a tad so it's eligible for the Academy Awards. I will post the Original song from the game (Which has the same name as this one) and a soundtrack so you can pretty much decide whether it's worth nominating or not. Ezen Baklattan
Spark: Ignition Best Animated Feature Best Adapted Screenplay Best Voice Performance In A Leading Role (Paul Dano) Best Voice Performance In A Supporting Role (Benedict Cumberbatch) Best Voice Performance In A Supporting Role (Mark Strong) Best Voice Performance In A Supporting Role (Bryce Dallas Howard) Best Voice Performance In A Supporting Role (Brie Larson) Best Original Song (“Ready Aim Fire” by Panic! At The Disco) Best Original Score (John Powell) - Much like in the first film, there are general motifs of adventure, heroics, and excitement. However, this one has a few sinister elements, some of which include jazzy tones, to depict the characters of Roxen and Kozar. There are also many progressive themes which fuse slight techno and orchestral music to display progress, primarily at the GalaxyCon. Best Sound Mixing Best Sound Editing Extrasensory Best Picture Best Director (Darren Aronofsky) Best Ensemble Best Actor (Kodi Smitt-McPhee) Best Supporting Actor (Michael Sheen) Best Supporting Actor (Mark Ruffalo) Best Supporting Actress (Julianne Moore) Best Original Screenplay Best Film Editing Best Cinematography Best Original Score (Clint Masnell) - The film uses many elements of its score to create suspense and a sense of terror, much like Masnell had done in "Black Swan" and "Stoker." Amidst the terror, there is a calmer yet melancholy piano theme for Kyle, signifying that there may still be goodness within his shell.
