grim22
Too soon? Sorry if it seemed insensitive. I genuinely had no idea when I posted it. College football is not really a sport I follow (i do follow the NFL, but I am mainly a Football (soccer) and Cricket guy). Removed the pic. kitik
So I took a look at who people were voting for on the "5 lowest-grossing" question. Here are the numbers I have, though I'm sure I missed a few, so these numbers probably aren't exact: The To-Do List - 39 The Purge - 38 Big Wedding - 27 We're The Millers - 25 Paranoia - 21 Peeples - 18 The Conjuring - 13 The Internship - 10 Now You See Me - 4 Kick-Ass 2 - 3 Planes - 3 Great Gatsby - 1 Pain and Gain - 1 RIPD - 1 This Is The End - 1 300 2 - 4 Mortal Instruments - 2 The Worlds End - 2 The Spectacular Now - 2 (The bottom 4 are not wide releases during the timeframe, though there's an argument to be made that the 300 sequel should count as a zero-grosser, since it was listed as a wide release at the time of the question.) -The folks who voted for Pain And Gain and The Great Gatsby are already wrong. -I'm surprised that The Internship hit double digits. -The 18 players who voted for Peeples are pretty much locked to get that one right. -The 27 votes for The Big Wedding are probably going to have to wait until the very end of the game to see if they were right or not. Baumer, if you're looking for a suggestion regarding the 300 sequel, I would suggest changing the question from "5 lowest-grossing wide releases of the summer" to something more like "5.1 lowest grossing". Score the 5 lowest wide releases that are actually released, as you would otherwise, but then also give credit to the 4 people that were smart enough to know that 300 was such a stinker that it would be pulled from the schedule. Well, time to laugh at all of us who voted for We're The Millers. Paranoia came through for us though. Current bottom 10: 1. To Do List - 3.5M 2. Paranoia - 3.9M 3. Peeples - 9.2M 4. Kick Ass 2 - 14.7M 5. Big Wedding - 21.8 6. RIPD - 32.4 7. Percy Jackson 2 - 40.3 8. Internship - 44.6 9. Planes - 46.8 10. Pain and Gain - 49.9 To Do List, Paranoia, Peeples, and Big Wedding are locks for the bottom 5. The only question is whether Kick Ass 2 can catch RIPD. I don't think it will, so 3 people will probably get the points for Kick Ass instead of just one person for RIPD.
grim22
Ya know, as I typed my little face earlier, I wondered, "Where the fuck is Ed these days?" Isn't Ed visiting his in-laws in Mexico or something. He was complaining about a bad internet and data connection in one of the threads. Any idea how many people are getting 3 or 4 out of 5? Big points to be had there.
Founder / Operator Shawn Robbins Posted August 20, 2013 Founder / Operator Share Posted August 20, 2013 For Baumer: This does not eliminate the bonus points originally mentioned, it will just add to them. Does that apply to all pre-season questions or just the Domestic Top 15?

Points for this: For every film that makes the bottom 5 that you call correctly, you will receive 10,000.If you can call 3 of 5 right, you get a 50,000 bonus. If you call 4 or 5 right, you get a 100,000 point bonus. There are no deduction of points for wrong answers. This is 100% bonus for you. chasmmi
So does anyone have a more awesomely inaccurate bottom 5 than me? 1) The big Wedding2) Purge3) To Do list4) We’re the Millers5) Now You see me I know there are no deductions for this question but I still believe I deserve about 500 minus points for that level of terribleness.
