Tower
PR and GU2 will both be in the top 15 Sam. GU2 definitely will, PR depends on drops and how the films that haven't been released yet do.
baumer
GU2 definitely will, PR depends on drops and how the films that haven't been released yet do. IYO, what would be the gross that a film has to hit to be in the top 15? Let's say PR opens to 37 mill. It should get a 3X imo. That's 111 mill. Do you think that will be enough to get into the top 15? Last year Campaign would have been the 15th spot with 79 mill. We currently have 10 films that have made 111M. add the Heat and GU2 that will pass this is 12. which means that you need 3 more films to make that number from the rest of the summer. Smurfs made over 140M so Smurfs 2 will probably make it. After that you have 2 Guns, Turbo and Elysium as contenders, if two of those pass 111M than that's the mark that PR will need to pass. Sam
Yes, but I will miss a few as well. I came so close to putting Gatsby and put Epic instead. Yeah, me too. I'm even worse in that I was hesitating between TGG and AE With some movies underperforming or flopping this summer, I think 2 Guns and The Conjuring has a shot in Top 15. Sam
expect Star Trek But almost everyone blows that one, so it's okay. I think B is the closest, and maybe 2 or 3 more are safe from point deduction.
baumer
With 15 films, we are all going to blow a lot of the grosses.
Tower
Wow, this summer is killing last summer. I didn't realize there were ten films over 110 mill already. Last year was far more top heavy, nothing from this year will come within 200M of The Avenger, but the films lower down that list definitely were much weaker.

Dementeleus
I think I'm going to be pretty good with GU2. Obviously I way over-predicted PR but as long as it makes the Top 15 that'll help. My biggest whiff, I think, is DM2 -- I way way way under-predicted it.
