    Eclipse had the second best midnight gross of all time, the record among 2D movies!Batman being far less frontloaded than Twilight was locked to do much stronger daily business. 30M + 55M = 85M seems like a reasonable projection. Saturday and Sunday must have been affected even more than Friday. Overall at least 30M was wiped off TDKR's opening weekend.

    BS! It opened well below SM3 in many countries and its legs are mediocre - not a sign of good WOM.Not every sequel is locked to increase OS, just look at Wrath of Titans. Spiderman franchise will go that way.

    Why would Ace Age start dropping hard NOW? It already took a big hit when TDKR opened. Films in general are still in recovery mode. The difference between this Wimpy and previous Wimpy openings (30%) is the extent to which the family audiences have been affected by the shooting.

    bleh DMC OW adjusts to 160M in today's ticket prices, and roughly 190M accounting for 3D and IMAX. It really is comparable to TA.

    TASM is so screwed. lolFirst Batman will steal its thunder, releasing one day earlier, then Prometheus will take its 3D screens one week later.Definitely seeing under 50M total now.

    Avengers got a boost on Memorial weekend, on Fathers day and when Brave came out. Otherwise its legs were pretty average.TDKR needs to do better than that.
