  1. LOTR fanbase is no match for Potter fanbase. Really, there is no comparison.
  2. I don't find this surprising at all. Excluding midnights TH opening actually fell short of AIL's OW. And it is a fanboy flick, of course it will be frontloaded.
  3. It's pretty funny reading all these posts from half a year ago.
  4. LOLI see no sign of great legs so far. This flick is frontloaded. 4x multiplier from OW (excluding midnights) seems like best case right now.
  5. That's pretty silly. The only reason TH had a bigger weekend gross is because of midnights: 13M for Hobbit vs 3M for IAL. Its weekdays are slightly bigger right now because it gets a boost from IMAX. That TH can eventually outgross IAL's final total is far from a lock.
  6. Hobbit is fading rapidly.Currenty tracking just ahead of I am Legend in dailies.50%+ drop is happening this weekend, and with it 300M is officially gone.
  7. A sub 300 total for Hobbit seems like a real possibility now. It's following I Am Legend pretty closely so far.
  8. Actually, Obama is America's reckoning. We're still waiting for our Batman to take him down.
  9. What a lame comment. The shooting cost it 20-30M on the OW alone. Multiply that by 2.8M, and that's the impact over the course of TDKR's entire run - around 70M.Don't use this depressed market to justify your bullshit predictions.
  10. 15 12 The Amazing Spider-Man Sony / Columbia 598 -987 -62.3% No 260M for Spidey.
  11. Good to see BL going down. Weekend should be definitely under 40M now.TDKR is hitting 20M for the weekend with this number. I thought it could do better than that to be honest.
  12. We already 2 raunchy comedy bombs this summer: Watch and TMB. Could this be the third?
  13. I doubt that someone would choose two trashy films over TDKR. Last weekend's openers had no effect on it.
  14. Bourne and Campaign should gross less than 70M combined - not a big deal.
  15. Monday's drop was 60% in the United States. Friday has to compensate.
  16. Dark of the Moon is arguably the best film in the series. This is a rare trilogy that managed to end on a high note.
  17. I never really liked the first Terminator flick. The sequel was definitely an improvement.
