  2. from BOM: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/news/?id=3952&p=.htm Of course, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention Jason Reitman's Men, Women & Children, which began and ended its run within the month. The movie had one of the worst nationwide debuts ever, and wrapped up on October 30th with less than $800,000. Through the end of October, year-to-date box office is down 3.7 percent to $8.48 billion. It remains unlikely that 2014 will set a new yearly record, though it is a safe bet that the year at least wraps up over $10.5 billion
  3. The Book of Life topped Sunday which is fitting given the movie is all about the Nov. 2 holiday in Mexico (and for most Catholics in the world)
  4. Good holds for Book of Life and Alexander. Maze Runner just 3 million away from 100M!
  5. Exhibitor Relations ‏@ERCboxoffice now3 seconds ago HORNS debuted theatrically w/ $104k in 103 theaters--$1,013 per. VOD has already topped $1M+.
  6. Exhibitor Relations ‏@ERCboxoffice now ST. VINCENT didn't drop off at all this weekend, grossing $7.7M, $19.5M total. Looks like it's going to be a nice little hit for Bill Murray (and Melissa McCarthy too )
  7. I read an interview with Felicity Huffman and she was asked why after her Oscar nominated performance in Transamerica she didn't do more movies and she said that she also thought that after Transamerica she would get a lot of good offers but didn't happen.
  8. Outside Jennifer Lawrence and Sandra Bullock, I think Marion Cotillard benefited the most with her Oscar win in the last 15 years
  9. Yeah she's good given the right role. But she's focused on the smaller movies lately and she never really was a Box Office draw before anyway

  15. The first movie came out almost 10 years ago! Too bad it's strictly not in 2D anymore but will watch this with my nephew!
  16. Will open here in the Philippines on Nov.6, excited!!!!
  17. Sad Book of Life might not make it to even 60M Who would have thought Nut Job will out gross Planes 2, The Boxtrolls and possibly Book of Life
