  1. Me too! But now I've grown to love that show since I'm a sucker for family-oriented shows. I wish Alexis Bledel goes back to TV as well. Her attempt to have a feature career is not successful and as much as I am in love with her, she's not the most versatile actress around
  2. Do you watch Bunheads? I do. First out of loyalty to ASP but now I genuinely enjoy even I'm way out of ABC Family's target demo
  3. True and she still has TV once her movie stardom ends. Her sitcom Mike & Molly will enter syndication next season even if that show ain't that funny, it's the type of middle-tier sitcom that will thrive in local syndication. And she's developing TV shows and movies as well. Let's see what she can do when she tries producing content on her own.
  4. I'm surprised too since this forum is mainly a boys club. I will never be ashamed that I'm a fan of Gilmore Girls Such a funny show
  5. Impressive for Identity Thief. I wonder if there was no blizzard in some areas, how high could it have possibly gone to
  6. Agree. Hansel and Gretel already beat Life of Pi for the #1 grossing movie for 2013. Kinda sucks since I wanted Pi to take the #1 for awhile

  8. Clap, clap for SLP Mama's performance is also great as well
  9. Go Argo! And Life of Pi as well!
  10. I'm glad for Kerry Washington. You should guys watch Scandal, she's pretty great there.
  11. I'm curious how it will do on Valentines Day, could do well although there's Safe Haven to compete with for the date crowd
  12. Oh how I wish Perks of Being a Wallflower was a Weinstein release and not Summit haha. Speaking of Summit, I think they also lost an opportunity with The Impossible. I think it could have appealed to the mainstream audience with how emotional it is but still feel good
  13. Definitely! I was underwhelmed with its first week of expansion but the holds had been great after that. Harvey afterall made the right call with its release strategy.

  15. 1. (local) One More Try - 7 / 102. Les Miserables - 9 / 103. Life of Pi - 10 / 104. Zero Dark Thirty - 9 / 10 5. Gangster Squad - 5 / 10 6. The Impossible - 9 / 10 7. Chinese Zodiac - 7 / 10
  16. Watched The Impossible (I teared up!) and Chinese Zodiac (bloated but Jackie Chan stunt set pieces are awesome!) today. Around 12 people watched The Impossible while Chinese Zodiac was jampacked, only the seats in the front row were empty in a 500-seater theater. Pinoys love Jackie Chan!
  17. The Impossible Feb. 2, 2013 / 12:30 PM Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa, PH 12 people Trailers (no reaction for all of it) Pacific Rim Despicable Me World War Z Man of Steel Epic Movie Wow! What an emotional movie. I tried my best not to tear up but man this movie just goes straight through your heart. The recreation of the Tsunami is good and i felt the horror of the experience. The acting was so good as well, Naomi deserved that Oscar nod. Ewan and the kids were great as well and boy when the little boys were shouting Lucas! I almost lost it. The crowd's small but they were responsive and heard some sobs as well. Good movie overall A
  18. I loved Argo (my second fave next to Life of Pi) and I'm very glad that it had a comeback. But I'm still not confident that it will win BP. Let's see. Exciting year
  19. As much as I'm annoyed with how Anne is acting lately, her I Dreamed a Dream is still stuck in my head. It's really quite a remarkable performance
