  1. Iron Man 3 will definitely be a box office hit and unless something surprises is lock for #1 for the year. Yeah the box office has been great lately despite higher ticket prices. I really love seeing long lines at the theaters
  2. ^ Nope. Animation. In Japanese with English Subtitles. One Piece Z is also coming this May 1. Both SM Exclusive. It's good that there's a local distributor releasing anime films, not an anime fan but I know a lot are and the fanbase is loyal and passionate so they will probably earn good enough

  10. Good for Croods! I really like it and I have a feeling the family audience will love it as well
  11. If RDJ was in Oz, I wonder how high it would have been.
  12. At least Hoult had moderate success with Warm Bodies
  13. And Quarter had no Awards buzz at all and The Impossible is just 4 million ahead of it. I dunno Summit/Lionsgate just can't handle their "Oscar" movies that well. Anyway, Safe Haven did well in line with most Sparks movies. Escape from Planet Earth as well, it had a light drop. Kids are starved with animation so I really think The Croods should do well. Oh Burt Wonderstone had a small budget, too bad it still won't be profitable SLP will be the last one standing in the box office among the Oscar nominees. Once again let's give the Weinsteins credit with their release strategy. It was a brilliant strategy. Life of Pi finally exceeded its budget in DOM, I know it's not a big deal anymore because of how huge it earned overseas but I'm just glad it surpassed the budget DOM. It's just so amazing how this movie beat the odds
  14. Good for Oz! Identity Thief and SLP runs are just amazing. Ouch once again for WB. And will Spring Breakers expand next week? Very surprised with its very high PTA in 3 theaters
  15. Yeah what a long streak of failures so far for WB well at least they won the Oscar with Argo
  16. Still great for Oz And handsome grosses for Life of Pi, SLP, Lincoln, Django, Les Mis and Argo! Zero Dark Thirty might end with $97 mil. Not bad Great box office year for Oscar movies!
  17. I hope the Tom Hanks movies will be good or at least one, I want to see him a nominated. And I hope a young actor will breakthrough, young actresses have it easy but young actors have a tough time. With young I mean 21 below
  18. Love the love for Perks but sad even HERE Logan can't make it?
