  1. ^ In Greenbelt 3 but only 2 & 4pm screenings and only this weekend most likely because there are no family friendly movies in the current releasesTotal Recall didn't appeal to me plus bad reviews so I had no plans to watch it. I watched Hope Springs before it disappeared in theaters and local flick I Do Bidoo Bidoo earlier.Planning to watch ParaNorman and Captive next week
  2. I was actually hoping Possession will do Devil Inside numbers but this is good enough, the trailer was appealing enough for horror fans
  3. yeah just like last year with Lion King 3D. Disney/Pixar movies are always shown here late, even the rereleases
  4. I was at the theater a while ago and not much people there, Total Recall is the one selling the most tickets. They even brought back Brave for 2 screenings :DNext will likely be soft as well, here are the releases:Sept. 5ParaNorman (Ayala Cinemas exclusive)The Raid: Redemption (SM Cinemas exclusive)The Watch(local) Captive(local) BwakawSept. 12 will be big though we have Resident Evil and the local flick The Mistress which stars most bankable local actor (all his movies released in the last 6 years crossed 100 million pesos) plus movies about mistresses / cheating do well here :lol:I don't think The Hobbit will do as well the superhero flicks, maybe it will earn in the $3-4 million
  5. The Watch and ParaNorman on Sept. 5 (and our potential Oscar Foreign Language entry Brillante Mendoza's Captive also on Sept.5). We have Resident Evil on Sept. 12, Dredd & Ruby Sparks on Sept. 19, Perks of Being a Wallflower on Sept. 26 and Hotel Transylvania on Sept. 28. Ted is also set for September but no release date yet. Warner Brothers PH will release Argo and Trouble with a Curve here but no dates yet. Skyfall is on for Oct. 31, Looper, Frankenweenie & Wreck it Raplh are set for for October as well while Finding Nemo 3D on Dec. 5
  6. During its first week TBL had like 80% of the screens available and then the next 2 weeks a lot of movies (around 12) were released so it shed a lot of its screens then of course the WOM was mixed as well so that's why it did dropped a lot. Still amazing performance of the movie here

  14. Well at least there's something to talk about in the lull days of box office
  15. BOM is not updated yet so I don't know if Bourne is still #1 . The Expendables 2 could've challenged it. I hope BOM updates the data tomorrow WileECoyote: I like Family Guy so I think I'll enjoy Ted
  16. Well it was expected anyway. I'm already pleased with Ratatouille's performance and legs. The concept is such a tough sell
  17. Odd Life of Timothy Green is also for kids and it actually held good this week
