  1. I don't think Cars 3 could go 400M worldwide. Oh well such a weak movie to get Disney's summer slot. I hope Coco does way better
  2. I hope the studios do better for August 2018. Labor Day weekend might be not good for new releases but they can give good holds for earlier August releases
  3. I kinda wish one of Disney's 2016 trio (Zootopia-Dory-Moana) was released this summer instead. Cars 3 was just too weak and contributed to the decline this summer
  4. if the Netflix numbers were big, they probably would have released it or give us an idea of their viewership as it would have been a good case of streaming movies is just as as big the audience of theaters which they have been advocating
  5. Cars 3 will crawl to 150M and is only at 308M worldwide. I know it's profitable with merchandising but these are disappointing numbers.
  6. Why is this month so thin. Next weekend is so dire, there's a chance we could have #1 below 10M.... Hopefully not and Hitman's Bodyguard or Annabelle will have good holds
  7. At least Hitman's Bodyguard will open good enough. The next two weekends though look so dire. Somebody surprise or rerelease please
  8. Looks like August has nothing that can reach it. Maybe Annabelle: Creation?
  9. I think Kidnap did OK considering the distribution problem it had plus it already leaked months ago. Kinda like 47 Meters Down
  10. Girls Trip still has a shot for 100M, right? I was hoping for smaller drops This month is so empty. I wish Kingsman is on this month instead
