  2. I'm sad The Good Dinosaur disappointed in the box office
  3. Nope, the relative disappointments of the other movies have other factors going for it but not really because of Star Wars.
  4. The story is really simple, nothing really extraordinary but the visuals though so amazing, the underwater scenes, wow! I like Arlo and Spot. Also got me teary eyed
  5. Sad for this franchise to have great and surprising box office start to end with a lackluster one, still it was a massive success
  6. Exhibitor Relations ‏@ERCboxoffice 12m12 minutes ago LOVE THE COOPERS breakdown: Debut ($8.4M) Budget ($17M) Female (70%) 25+ (82%) With that budget, not a bad OW for this movie
  7. BoxOffice ‏@BoxOffice 11m11 minutes ago SPOTLIGHT took in an estimated $1.40M this weekend from 60 locations. Domestic total stands at $1.85M. #Spotlight
  8. The Martian is just impressive! Bridge of Spies also had good legs! I hope it still keeps a lot of theaters by Thanksgiving weekend and maybe expand again if it gets major award nominations Decent for Coopers, it's a Christmas movie afterall so it can have good legs, we'll see The 33 could have done better, even if years have passed since the incident,it's a great human interest story but I guess the poor reviews affected it somehow I saw By The Sea and it's a dull movie, good move to just have it limited
  9. Well this is expected. Our Brand is Crisis is a failed Oscar bait, if Oscar contender Steve Jobs flopped last week then what more Crisis? This was poised to be their next Argo but poor reception killed its chances
  10. Not familiar with Jem either but after reading those, oh wow, that movie deserved to bomb. Anyway, really good holds for a lot but I'm still mostly impressed by The Intern, and the movie is also doing well overseas. Never expected that at all
  11. Too early to tell and we're not sure if it can continue to have good holds but with awards season coming, and this one expected to be a player then maybe it would get some bounce but 100M is very tough to do
  12. Our Brand is Crisis is a failed Oscar bait though and with the "Oscar" movies like Steve Jobs and to an extent Bridge of Spies not performing that well, then what more that movie, I expect 5-7M OW Anyway, The Martian at least is doing well and Goosebumps is solid
