    How are they right? What is so wrong about asking (NOT forcing) a poster to employ some basic human decency and consideration? Why is trivialising rape the way that poster did considered something that needs defending now? People here always wonder why this forum has so few female posters in comparison to male posters... this is why.

    Putting Adams in supporting won't sabotage JLaw. Remember Leo and Adams both got nominated for the Fighter. I hear that in the FYC magazine that has been sent to all SAG members, American Hustle's FYC ad is only for Best Ensemble. That suggests to me they're still sorting out categorty placement, most probably for Adams. I wouldn't be surprised if they stick in her Supporting, since the Lead Actress category is so competitive she has pretty much no chance of getting in there.

    CF is going to have a far better multiplier than New Moon and any of the Twilight films. THG is a franchise that resonates with the general public the way the Twilight saga never did, and has a lot more casual fans. A lot of people may not have been rushing out to see it opening day, but they will still catch it when they have the chance, before its run is over. So sick of you misusing the word 'rape'. Please stop. Rape is not a casual word that can be thrown around so brazenly. It's a traumatic experience that some people on this forum have had to live through, and seeing you use it in such a stupid context is beyond upsetting. Words mean things. When you use 'rape' the way you do, you diminish not only the meaning of the word, but also the severity of the action itself. I, as a rape survivor, am asking you again to stop being so thoughtless and insensitive.

    A tornado destroyed my local Event Cinemas on Monday. The roof just completely collapsed in one of the cinemas. Now the whole place is closed because of the severe damage. I wonder how/if that affects Catching Fire's OW, since I know a lot of people had pre-purchased tickets to midnight shows and Thursday/Friday night screenings, this is a fairly popular cinema in Sydney so I presume it was set to do a lot of CF business. I don't know if another Event Cinema nearby held extra midnight screenings to accommodate those ticket holders, or if they simply got their money back. Hopefully the whole thing doesn't mess with CF's box office too much though.

    To give some context to the IMDB poster: they are reliable and a SAG member, however they admittedly aren't a big fan of DOR (as a person and as a filmmaker), so consider that when reading their thoughts. They are predicting JLaw for a nomination, so I'm excited about that

    lol @ you sounding like a pressed fanboy. Ummmm it's absolutely an important criteria!!! How can anyone say otherwise lol. Besides Emma Stone isn't as bankable as some people here think. Apart from Easy A she has NEVER led a movie, it's still impossible to dicsern how much of a draw her name is. Like geez, I like the girl and I'm a fan of hers, but some people here really view her talent/career through rose-coloured glasses.

    LMAO no. Wasikowska is a far superior actor to Stone. Stone is more charismatic than she is skilled. I like her but she would NEVER be able to pull off what Wasikowska did in Jane Eyre, Stoker and In Treatment. Del Toro DEFINITELY upgraded.

    lol please. Cucumberbitch is so overrated. His face is aesthetically not pleasing, I definitely wouldn't be able to buy him as a ladies man (which is what his character is supposed to be). Plenty of more talented actors out there anyway. If they can upgrade from Stone to Wasikowska, I'm sure they'll manage to replace him with someone better.

    If it's getting old to you, go read a book. Stop willingly consuming media that god forbid wants to tell black people's stories. White people fucked up things for a lot of people. I say this as a white person. If the reality of that is too confronting and uncomfortable for you, there's plenty of other movies and stories that will happily allow you to stick your head in the sand.

"She's not particularly good", lol wtf? In what planet is her filmography NOT good? Even her worst film (TWLITF) was still interesting and had a lot of merit to it. smh I don't understand people lol...

    The script has leaked, and it's very solid. Who cares what he wrote in the past, the quality of THIS script is all that should matter and it's a fine script. I don't get why people are so cynical about Bier either.
