  1. a fair bit of red there as they're inching downwards on a lot of stuff
  2. Crazy to think that's a "disappointing" number. A month or two ago that number for Sonic would have been huge, let alone 8 months ago.
  3. There's always tomorrow .... and next week .... and next month ....

  7. https://www.the-numbers.com/news/244990830-Weekend-Theater-Counts-Sonic-Debuts-But-Birds-of-Prey-Remains-Widest-Release The Rhythm Section Paramount Pictures 94 3,049 -2,955 That can't be right. Losing 2955, down to just 94 left, would be beyond epic.
  8. Mulan seems destined to have a giant asterisk next to it. But whatever imaginary money Mulan loses out on (which we'll never know for certain, so its pointless to debate any numbers), it's probably not Disney's biggest concern. I think their earning call last week said they could take a $280M hit from their Asian themeparks being closed. I wonder if they have insurance to cover "natural disaster" losses like that.
  9. I'm not sure I follow what you mean. "What" isn't how tracking works? Tracking is not based on "nothing". It is based on polling and all sorts of data. Is it as accurate as presales from the day before a release? No, of course not, but nobody ever said it was.
  10. Leto posted that they're currently working on some reshoots. All seems to be going according to plan.
  11. Sonic over Onward? Would not have guessed that a few months ago. (Not that it's guaranteed to happen just yet, but even the possibility seems like a major coup.)
  12. I hope people aren't getting their hopes too high for this film. I don't want to see reviews or box office that are just "good" instead of spectacular be considered disappointing.
  13. Awesome news, glad it's coming. thanks for the warning, I had already decided to watch this last year, so I'll just go ahead and skip this trailer
  14. After the huge success of Thor Ragnarok, I would assume that Taika is being well-compensated. He seems more than happy to show up in other Marvel movies too, and seemed quite pleased with his Star Wars directing and acting, so I would think he's on good terms with Disney.
  15. Uncut Gems should have had multiple nominations! But they actually picked the correct #1 movie, and that's what really matters.
  16. I saw one of those again on tv like a year ago or something, and I was like "holy shit, it's Mr Robot!"
