  1. They're obviously not going to throw out their plans and the script and start over from scratch. There simply isn't time. Actors have already been cast and arranged their schedules, pre-production has surely already designed a bunch of characters and setpieces and locations. Filming locations have already been scouted and reserved. (I'm guessing?) Maybe Raimi will have some different ideas, either story focuses or even endings/outcomes for certain characters, and if he does, he can pitch them to Feige, and it'll be up to Kevin to decide if he wants to go with those changes or not. While the braintrust at Marvel has a pretty good idea of whats going to happen in the MCU over the next 5 years, it's not all 100% set in stone. Scenes get cut from MCU movies all the time. Reshoots change things. Entire characters disappear. There's still time for Raimi to make this his movie, but the story will surely still be Feige's overall story.
  2. Since we're in the multiverse, Bruce can actually play one of his previous characters!!!
  3. What if Iowa doesn't report any numbers?!?!?!? Could lead to a terrible OW.
  4. Now that you kiddos have seen the Super Bowl spots for this year, feel free to update your top ten most anticipated movies of the next 12 months over in the Most Anticipated Films thread. https://forums.boxofficetheory.com/topic/667-box-office-theorys-most-anticipated-films/page/394/#comments Unfortunately, WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier are not eligible.
  5. By the way, just want to point out that there's a My Hero Academia movie opening on Wednesday February 26, and it's getting the XD premium format screens at all the local theaters here in town that night.
  6. Dear China, It's okay if you stop waiting for Hellboy. If there's no room in your upcoming condensed theater schedule, you can just go ahead and skip it entirely. Sincerely, Movie Fans of the World
  7. LOL! First of all, I feel like I just watched the entire movie. What is the point of watching a movie if you've already seen everything in the trailer? Second, holy crap, what happened to the laws of physics? Actually, thinking about it, I would love to know the scientific makeup of the Fast Universe. What is it about the laws of nature in that universe that allows a car to drive on a bridge as it's in freefall? When human bodies are falling in that universe, are car hoods actually capable of caching said bodies so no damage is incurred? Third, why was I grinning for like 3 minutes straight when I was watching that trailer? Absolutely horrible. Looking forward to it.

  12. I went to see Weathering With You last night. Lovely little movie with some great characters in it, and of course the animation was beautiful.
  13. Holy smokes, my theater has F9 times listed too. Maybe the trailer has something crazy in it that'll break the internet.
  14. https://deadline.com/2020/01/transformers-movies-paramount-1202843234/ Deadline says one of them is a Beast Wars movie!!!
  15. That's what I was hoping too, but the fact they said "brand new casts" in the article is making it seem unlikely.
  16. https://variety.com/2020/film/news/transformers-franchise-revamp-bumblebee-james-vanderbilt-joby-harold-1203482496/ The studio still views “Transformers” as a top priority, with hopes to attach directors to each script as soon as possible. First, it's about darn time that we're finally hearing about the next Transformers movie. But second, the way that article is written, it almost suggests that they'd consider filming movies separately. Two different TF movies with two different casts and creative teams. Logically, you'd think they'd just pick one and go with it, but it sounds like they might do both, perhaps one big one and one smaller one.
