    Definitely a drop in Australia with pre-sales, we'll see if it picks up this weekend. Our midnight premier went off tonight (so far) without a hitch Bigger then DH1 but smaller then Eclipse.

    alvin is massive with the kids, but I think we'll all be surprised by how well the muppets will do. Alvin has 11 days to burn of demand.

    Alvin is on the 1st of january for some reason. Sherlock is the 5th and muppets the 12th.

    New years eve I don't think will flop. Goodwill down here at least for valentines day will bring in the numbers, and as long as it sticks with the same idea, it'll do well. Puss in boots will get 18-22m I think.

    The debt had a $6k theatre average, so not a flip, just no breakout.

    And everything goes back to normal now. Except the lack of buzz for BD, though I think all the people who hated this book but are twilight fans will go to see it. Just to see how they did it. I'm going to see it on either monday or wednesday.... There goes 2 hours of my life!

    Midnight is better for BD1 than DH1, but you have to remember that twilight had had midnights here for awhile, but DH1 was the first midnight for harry potter.

    Moneyball gets 1.4m, no idea about others yet. Pretty decent for a baseball film.

    Today was really quite, moneyball still to win though. Santas apprentice bombed hard for a kids film on sunday. In time still pulling prior in!

    Moneyball is doing really strongly in my area. I'm thinking:Moneyball just beating In Time. I don't know how she does it comes 3rd. Shark Night is well below PA3. Warrior and drive are stilling pulling strong crowds down here it looked like.

    I don't think it will hurt it as much as people think. Most under 15's who are desperate enough to see it will find someone to take them. It'll just be the casual tweens where BD will loose.
