  1. am i the only one here who thinks Megan Leavey is the clear front runner for best picture?
  2. PARAMOUNT IS TROLLING US. NO WAY IS 4069 FOR TRANFORMERS AND 69 FOR BAYWATCH JUST A COINCIDENCE. 3. No Action???? The entire movie was action! It was a two and a half hour climax similar to The Dark Knight....not in terms of quality but in terms of pacing
  4. Ok, I would put this in 'A Few of My Favorite Things' but that area is barely moving and this is just a current thing. These are the 3 of the highest budgeted / lowest reviewed movies so far this summer. Please watch all 3 before voting. Here is mine. Transformers - B+ Mummy - C+ Pirates - C
  5. Thought it had some of the best moments yet, but this right here is going to keep me from giving it an A. These films just wrap is up right away at the end. I like that kind of pacing but it seems they could just use a little something more. Also, it seems Optimus gave the same end pep speech he gives every film and that is why I have to lower it to a B+. Otherwise I was completely thrilled and satisfied every minute during the movie. It felt like one giant climax for 2 hrs plus (kind of like The Dark Knight). B+
  6. Tues jumps should be more muted because of excess Transformers premier screens. Matrix-example: more top of the ticket movies like Cars, 47 Meters, and Wonder Woman should stay flat or decrease Tuesday because they are likely to be cancelled to make room for Transformers because it is usually just one big one at a time, whereas It Comes At Night, Baywatch, Megan Leavy and Alien Covenant should skyrocket and increase HUGE on Tuesday because all the excess shows for Transformers will allow the crowds to look at these individual showtimes and say "hey that one over there looks fun!"
  7. Does this at least up the action ante from 3 and 4??? Example... Transformers 1 - action level = 10 Transformers 2 - 12 Transformers 3 - 15 Transformers 4 - 15 where would 5 be???
  8. yep these snippets have me sold.. I will be taking a 1 hour bus ride Wednesday morning to see it in IMAX for $12.
  9. I know I know...it seems like it should not. But last week, it averages $1,500 per location on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Down 1/3 would be $1,000 per theater average multilied with the 4018 locations. Seems 4.1 is within reach. Maybe it holds up better and does 80% of last Monday's per theater average. That gives it roughly $1,200 nearing 5 million for Monday.
