  1. MAISIE WILLIAMS CAST AS ALANNA Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, known for playing Arya Stark, has just been cast as Arianna in the fantasy epic Alanna: The First Adventure. The story revolves around a girl in a fictional kingdom who seeks to be a knight by pretending to be a boy. It is based on the best-selling novel by Tamora Pierce.
  2. You do realize that most people, other than maybe you, have actually started most of their films, right? They might have a general idea or even some notes on what they want, but I doubt most people have done any real significant progress for their films. You should be in no rush at all. There's a reason that you have 2 weeks to turn in films during Part I, we haven't even began this year's part Three.
  3. I think most players will be fine. There are still many dates open and many films will probably get cancelled before Year 6 even begins. I've played this game long enough that I don't think this will be a disaster for anyone.
  4. You have MLK, Labor Day and I see many June and July dates open. You even have a movie in May (although considering the movie, I wouldn't be surprised if that gets competition). Maybe you didn't get your first picks (and frankly, most of you your movies scheduled aren't ever going to be your first pick in any given year), but it's not exactly like you're anywhere near a bad spot.
  5. That's weird because the thread starter in this case only took two big dates: Thanksgiving and Christmas, and those dates tend to have more than one blockbuster tenthole anyways. So, yes, please tell me how Blank managed to take all the big tickets?I, for one, have never seen a single person starting the Advanced Schedule to get all the big dates.
  6. There is no real set time that the Advanced Schedule is announced. But be glad that the Advanced Schedule exists now. For a large portion of the old CAYOM, there wasn't one.
  7. It's already started and it's not like we'd start the advanced schedule again. We'd just lock the current thread and unlock it again if people really felt like it needs to be closed. Considering how the thread has seven five pages, I don't think that there's any need to lock it as clearly people want to mark out their spots at the moment.
  8. This is your first year, and I can tell you sir, that it has moved faster before.
  9. I don't believe so. I don't think it's something that people really sign up for-it gets created when there's demand by the first person who decides to do it? I'm not sure, I don't create the Advanced Schedule thread, but I don't remember anyone discussing who gets it and which year.
  10. Nope. The schedule comes when it comes.
  11. Because people were calling dates.
  12. Which means that unless Impact agrees to it, you can't use them in your film. You'll have to write the plot without them. Just like how the Avengers didn't have Spider-man in it.
  13. 1) Yeah, it's a fantasy movie.2) It's the movie Rebellion should have been. It's going to be a lot different. I'm thinking that the movie is actually going to be a collection of segments from different directors. For instance, one segment could be directed by Quentin Terantino and another by Christopher Nolan. These segments would be short enough that it would allow them to direct one or two other full-length movies while allowing me to properly provide justice for each part of the movie. Or I might just decide to go for one director.
  14. July 1-4: (4-Day Weekend): The American Revolution November 11-13: Alanna: The First Adventure
  15. A historical epic that covers the....American Revolutionary War. Not sure whose directing it.
  16. See this is why we need the advanced schedule?I have my American Revolution movie coming out July 4th. Wouldn't make much sense to release it elsewhere.
  17. I think we definably can.
  18. Actually Impact doesn't have to work on the team-up film if he doesn't want to.
  19. Paul Feig? He's only done comedy pretty much but...he could do something more serious.
  20. Along with Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue, albeit they'll at least air all the episodes they've shot,
  21. My post has been updated. It's on the first page.
  22. I am releasing the rights to the Hunger City Chronicles. In turn, I'm going to take the rights to the Tortall universe. Unlike last time where I started with Tricker's Queen and Trickster's Choice, I'm going to start with the Song of the Lioness universe.
  23. Please edit your posts instead of just posting new ones. It makes it more difficult for players to keep track of studio plans if you keep on making new posts. The rule exists for a reason.
  24. Not it isn't. It's not fair to Numbers to sign up only to have someone take it away from him just because he hadn't done it before. You'll get your chance but you'll just have to wait longer unless Numbers decides to let you go on his year.
