    It would certainly be #2, but I doubt one IMAX theatre would contribute an additional $20m+ considering the global total is what, $250m? I doubt it would have even passed $100m with IMAX.

    Currently $1.7m away from TGM and $2.5m away from TFA. Thinking TFA might just be out of reach at this point, so we’ll have to ‘settle’ for all-time #3.

    I never really had $100m in play. I was hopeful of 2nd place, but there’s only $1m between 2nd and 3rd at the moment so TWOW could very well stay where it is in 4th. While I’m sad it won’t be an Avatar 1/2, $90m+ after it’s OW is pretty incredible.

    I don’t think A3 will do it. It would need to be a significant improvement over A2. I think it will be an AEG style franchise peak that gets there in a decade or so, with the help of significant inflation. Either that or the insane A5 that’s being proposed.

    $3.26m/$86.24m for TWOW. Officially #4 all-time. Sadly I think the $100m dream is over. It’s going to get so so close though.

    Incredible that BR is all-time #1!? Is there a particular appeal (apart from it being a great movie!)?

    Will officially be #5 all-time in Australia when we get weekly figures on Thursday. Then #4 by Sunday. Then it’s a slow burn to #2 and hopefully the second movie ever to cross AUD100m. The only other being Avatar which is at a mind-blowing AUD118m.

    I remember being very underwhelmed at TWOWs opening. Oh how far we’ve come since then! I was definitely not expecting $90m+ out of it!
